MPH student Jacob Beckerman selected as finalist for FSPH Student Writing Competition

First year MPH student Jacob Beckerman was selected as the Community Health Sciences finalist for the schoolwide 2015 Student Writing Competition, for which he was awarded a $1,000 prize from Molina Healthcare. He will be presenting "The Ebola Epidemic: Lessons For Those Who Will Never Get Ebola" at the 41st Annual Lester Breslow Distinguished Lecture on April 1, 2015. A distinguished panel of judges will select the best presentation and will award the winner with the grand prize, the Breslow Student Fellowship of $5,000.
