PhD Candidate M. Stajura to be one of UCLA's two official graduate student representatives for the 2014 UC Graduate Research Day

PhD Candidate Michael Stajura was personally invited by Robin Garrell, Vice Provost for Graduate Education and Dean of the Graduate Division, to be one UCLA's two official graduate student representatives for the 2014 UC Graduate Research Day. This event is organized by the graduate deans on the 10 UC campuses and UC Government Relations. It showcases UC's research mission, the achievements of our graduate students, and the impact of graduate education on the economy and future of California to the state's legislators.


Stajura's story, research, and achievements from the Daily Bruins feature “Army veteran finds community and purpose at UCLA” caught the attention of Dean Garrell.

Stajura has accepted the invitation and will be joining Dean Garrell and UCLA’s additional representatives for the event in Sacramento on March 12, 2014.
