Jennifer Wagman

Dr. Wagman earned her PhD in Reproductive, Perinatal and Women’s Health and her Master’s degree of Health Science in International Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health; and a Bioethics and Health Policy Certificate from the Johns Hopkins Berman Institute of Bioethics. Her postdoctoral training, completed at the UC San Diego School of Medicine, was in alcohol and substance use, HIV and related infections. Since 2000, Dr.

May Sudhinaraset

Dr. May Sudhinaraset, PhD is Assistant Professor in Community Health Sciences in the School of Public Health at UCLA. She is trained as a social epidemiologist from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her research focuses on understanding the social determinants of migrant, adolescent, and women’s health both globally and in the US.

Ondine S. von Ehrenstein

I specialise in global reproductive, perinatal and child health, including birth outcomes, neurodevelopment, autism, cognition, and asthma. My work emphasizes the life-course approach, focusing on the early life period as it sets the stage for life long health. My research involves large population studies to examine linkages between prenatal and early life environmental, lifestyle and community factors, and reproductive, childhood and population health. My current research takes place internationally and in California.

Virginia C. Li

Virginia C. Li, Ph. D., is Professor Emerita in the Department of Community Health Sciences at the University of California at Los Angeles School of Public Health. She was born in China and came to the United States as a teen. She received her baccalaureate and masters degree in Foods and Nutrition. When she was a mother of three young children, she returned to graduate school and received her masters and doctoral degrees from the University of North Carolina School of Public Health.

Jessica D. Gipson

Dr. Gipson's work focuses on reproductive health, mostly in lower-income settings. Her research incorporates both qualitative and quantitative research methods to investigate reproductive health and reproductive decision-making among women and couples.
