Victims and Survivors: Should They be Cared For?

Many individuals, women and men approach health and welfare services, defining themselves as 'victims' or 'survivors'. Why would people select such a title, and what are their expectations when they do? The presentation highlights different types of victims and the way that the public/voluntary sectors attend to their needs. Data is based on research done in the USA
